Makeup lesson with Guerlain…Cassandra was there!

Cassandra’s work is tough. She had to go to the Guerlain makeup lesson (featured on BunchOP in April) and tell us everything about it…
“The elevator door opens at the 19th floor, on a beautiful haven of peace and luxury. Pleasantly greeted, I was invited to wait in a very quiet and very comfortable and relaxing lounge. They offered me a drink of my choice including champagne but I was on duty and I opted for coffee that was served with a lovely pastry.
The makeup artist, who gives me a lesson, was a few minutes late, the Spa manager very kindly offered me a manicure in apologizing. My hands perfectly maintained, and a pretty pink nails later on I went to meet the Guerlain spa makeup artist, “Luigi”.
Ladies, let me tell you it was a very pleasant experience: after he has cleansed and massaged with creams feeling deliciously good my face, Luigi began my makeup.
A little advice, do not hesitate to ask at the outset what you want, a more natural and day makeup, or like me a real makeup that can be used in the evening. Ask as many questions as you want, and do not hesitate to stop and ask him what he does.
Luigi answered all my questions”– and Cassandra can be very chatty – “had the patience to explain to me step by step what he was doing to me. He explained to me each product he used (without trying to sell them) and every technical trick.
Now, I have tips to hide day imperfections and I can even look good for a photo shoot.
I left the spa, with a perfect makeup, able to redo it by my own.

Cassandra, nous raconte son expérience au Spa Guerlain grâce à notre super deal pour une leçon particulière d’1h30.
“La porte de l’ascenseur s’ouvre au 19e étage, sur un magnifique havre de paix et de luxe. Très agréablement accueillie, je suis invitée à patienter dans un salon très confortable, calme et reposant. Quelqu’un m’offre du champagne mais je choisis un café, celui-ci est accompagné d’une succulente pâtisserie. Cela commence bien !
Mon maquilleur est en retard mais on me propose une manucure pour patienter. La manucure est si bien faite que j’espère presque que mon maquilleur sera un peu plus en retard pour avoir une pédicure !
Non, Luigi arrive et je suis prise en main. L’expérience est vraiment très agréable, à essayer sans hésiter ! Après m’avoir démaquillé, mon visage est massé avec plusieurs crèmes qui sentent délicieusement bon, Luigi commence enfin.
Petit conseil : vous pouvez vraiment tout lui demander. N’hésitez pas dès le départ à lui demander ce que vous souhaitez, un maquillage plus naturel, ou comme moi un vrai maquillage qui puisse être utilisé en soirée. Poser autant de questions que vous le souhaitez, et n’hésitez pas à l’interrompre pour lui demander ce qu’il fait.
Luigi a répondu à toutes mes questions”– et Cassandra est plutot bavarde- “a eu la patience de m’expliquer étape par étape tout ce qu’il faisait. Il rentrait dans les détails de tous les produits (sans essayer de me les vendre), me donnant des astuces et des techniques que je ne connaissais pas. J’ai maintenant un éventail d’astuces pour masquer les petites imperfections en plein jour, sous une lumière electrique. Il m’a même donné des conseils si l’envie me prenait de faire un photo shoot.
J’ai quitté le spa, parfaitement maquillée, et sachant refaire chacun des gestes qui avaient été effectués. Attention, l’expérience est addictive ! Cassandra”
