In 2001, Brochet conducted a wine experiment at the University of Bordeaux among wine experts and served the same Bordeaux in two different bottles (one bottle with a label of Grand Cru and the other one with a label of an ordinary wine “vin de table”).
Guess what?
The grand cru was described as being “agreeable”, “woody” , “complex”, “balanced” and “rounded”.
The vin de table was “weak , “short”, “light”, “flat” and “faulty.”

A blind wine tasting will be conducted at DROM with 6 different wines from $ 8 to $ 50 (red and white).
You will be teamed up and you will have to guess if the wine is red or white (this seems obvious, really, you want to bet?), from Europe or US, the composition of the wine aka “cépage” (for the best of us) and guess the price!
A sommelier will be there to spice up & entertain the wine tasting!
And of course, in order to stay sober (you won’t have this excuse), light food will be served.
