It would certainly have been \u201cDjango\u2019s Dream\u201d to witness such extraordinary guitarists perform his music so vividly and daringly as to somehow make it new again.<\/p>\n
For one unforgettable night, this mini festival celebrates Gypsy swing of the 1930s in unexpected ways under the artistic direction of guitarist and composer Stephane Wrembel (Fontainebleu, France\/NY).<\/p>\n
Wrembel, who has been called \u201ca revelation\u201d by Rolling Stone and who composed the music for Woody Allen\u2019s last two films (for those who need a reminder, listen to Midnight in Paris Sountrack<\/a>) will be joined by Kamlo (Nantes, France) who interprets Django via the Mediterranean, and Flamenco and Gypsy swing-style guitar master Alfonso Ponticelli (Chicago).<\/p>\n The electrifying sounds of three of the world\u2019s leading Gypsy jazz artists – who each share a deep knowledge of Django\u2019s style yet express it in individual ways – will move effortlessly between beloved Gypsy jazz standards and stunning improvisations ending in a spectacular super jam finale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Pour une nuit inoubliable, ce mini festival c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le Gypsy Swing des ann\u00e9es 1930 de mani\u00e8re inattendue sous la direction artistique de guitariste et compositeur St\u00e9phane Wrembel (Fontainebleau, France \/ NY).<\/p>\n Wrembel, “une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation” par le magazine Rolling, a compos\u00e9 la musique de deux films de Woody Allen (pour ceux qui veulent se rafraichir la m\u00e9moire, \u00e9couter la musique du film Midnight in Paris<\/a>).
