Quelques chiffres: $ 400 millions de frais pour ces travaux. une surface de 205000 mètres carré, $ 1 milliard de vente par an, 20 millions de visiteurs par an, 6500 employés….. pour un magasin.

En 2010, Macy’s a engagé un cabinet spécialisé dans l’étude du chemin parcouru par un client en magasin. 30% des clients se perdaient dans le magasin. A l’origine, c’était une stratégie de Macy’s: plus le client se perd dans le magasin géant, plus il y passe de temps….et plus il achète.
