Afin de mieux faire connaitre son nouveau 737, Boeing a fait appel à une agence de communication, afin de développer une démo/présentation de l’avion grâce à la Kinect de Microsoft.
Boeing nous propose donc une image haute résolution de 17 Giga multi-dimension de l’avion afin de pouvoir voir et visiter tous les recoins du fuselage (ce qui représente tout de même 20000 images collectées).
La Kinect sert donc à naviguer dans cette image comme vous pouvez le voir dans la vidéo ci-dessous.
D’autres outils Microsoft ont été utilisés comme par exemple la technologie Silverlight pour permettre cette réalisation.
